Xendit Hiring For Senior Software Engineer – Store Operations at Central Singapore Full Time

Mission

Xendit’s vision is to build digital infrastructure for Southeast Asia, supporting customers from fast-growing startups, NGOs to multinational enterprises such as Traveloka, Lazada, Garuda Indonesia, Suzuki, and Ciputra. 

Your mission as a Senior Software Engineer of Store Operations team is to build a complete solution for platform integration, such as e-commerce platforms and marketplaces. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical implementations on Store Operations team as we continuously build new integrations, features and improve existing ones
  • Work closely with product manager to solve business problems and needs, creating product roadmap, and contributing actively in development prioritization
  • Hands-on involvement on architecture of the product and mentor Junior Devs on solution architecture. 
  • Work closely with engineering manager and Senior Devs to build the quarterly technical roadmap
  • Manage and work together with devs in the store operations team to drive their personal growth and team growth
  • Monitor sprint progress, provide timely feedback to devs’ contributions, and drive the team to deliver quality products
  • Drive speedy recovery during incidents so customers do not experience long disruption to their payments processing experience
  • Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed

You may be a good fit if

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree
  • 3 – 4 years of relevant IT experience, with a minimum of 2-year experience as a Senior Engineer
  • Demonstrated working experience of NodeJS, Web Services (RESTful), SQL/PostgreSQL and publish-subscribe design patterns
  • 2 years hands-on experience in DevOps on AWS, Docker/K8s etc
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL database schema design and query optimization
  • Experience with unit, integration, and E2E test frameworks such as jest, mocha, supertest, and cucumber
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
  • Hands-on technical experience on building and maintaining cloud based app, using CI/CD platforms, monitoring and logging tools
