XFrame Looking for Industrial Designer at New Zealand Full Time

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Industrial Designer role at XFrame in Wellington, New Zealand. The Industrial Designer will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of XFrame products, the creation of manufacturing assets, and for the ongoing design / refinement of XFrame product offerings. In all tasks the Industrial Designer will be responsible for ensuring the XFrame meets sustainability and circularity goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling
• Experience in timber frame construction and materials
• Strong design thinking and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with CNC machining and precision manufacturing is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
