Education:
High school graduation or equivalent.
Experience:
Two (2) years shipping/receiving or materials handling experience in a medium to large organization. Plus, previous experience coordinating workflow. Familiarity with freight expediting and courier services preferred.
Skills:
Basic computer skills required including ability to perform electronic data entry into computer program. Manual dexterity & mechanical ability to operate mail room & similar equipment. Ability to bend, lift/move heavy materials. Ability to push loaded carts or mobile units. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time. Ability to work effectively under pressure of high volume and shifting priorities. Ability to maintain accurate records. Good oral communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to deal courteously and effectively with people. Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy. Strong organizational skills.

Please note: This position requires the successful candidate maintain a valid Driver’s License and a produce a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract. The successful candidate would have to provide proof of a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract upon being hired.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm.Overtime may be necessary during peak periods.Peak periods: August to November, January to May
