Youth on the Move Inc Hiring for Dispatcher/Data Entry(NOT REMOTE POSITION) Job at Massachusetts Full Time

We are looking for a self-motivated go; who wants to join an ever-expanding business. The preferred candidate must be bilingual and able to maintain ongoing two-way radio and telephone communication in all languages. They will be able to supervise all building personnel, schedule daily bus route coverage, adjust driver assignments, as well as maintain route assignments. They must possess the ability to work any computer programs. These include word, outlook, excel, and all other office programs; to accurately create and manage a log of all daily events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain ongoing two-way phone communication with clients, management, vendors and employees.
• Schedule daily route coverage, adjust driver assignments as well as trip assignments.
• Communicate with staff quickly and directly about daily schedule information and changes.
• Assist in planning pickups, drop-offs, and daily routes for each vehicle being used that day
• Use computer software to create, plan and track all route information along with any changes.
• Maintain an accurate log of daily events.
• Implement emergency procedures as situations occur. Initiate the emergency call procedure as outlined during orientation.

• The ability to read and write in all languages necessary for the business.

• The ability to use all electronics necessary to accomplish daily tasks.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft office programs including word, outlook and excel
• Knowledge of federal and state laws surrounding transportation.

• The ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
• The ability to diffuse and manage stressful situations.
• The ability to promote and follow the Board of Education policies set by the Superintendent of schools
• Follow any and all office policies and procedures.
• The ability to communicate/interact cooperatively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Follow all safety rules and practice safe work habits.
• Report unsafe conditions to the appropriate management team member.
• Monitoring office supplies and assisting to restocking orders as needed
• knowledge of and experience with transportation software is preferred.
• knowledge of two-way communications system.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Associates degree or higher
• More than one year and up to three years of experience in transportation.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!

Two Shifts:

7:30AM- 3:30PM

8AM-4PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Pay may depend on skills and/or qualifications
