Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in conceptual creative with an agency, in-house creative team, global brand, retailer, or creative consulting firm
- Experience in leadership, managing creative/media teams
- Ability to speak and write in English and/or Portuguese/Spanish fluently
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to invent, develop solutions across mediums, and work and lead across disciplines
- Ability to present solutions aligned to strategic goals and influence key stakeholders, including Vice Presidents
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects in a start-up atmosphere and take initiative
- Interest and curiosity in gadgets, inventions, and world-changing leaps in technology
About the job
The YouTube Creative Studio leads creative conception and development for the YouTube brand and its products. We are a team of writers, art directors, designers, strategists, producers, editors, animators, illustrators, and sound designers working alongside account leads, project managers, and operations leads to make exciting work for the brand. We work together with our Marketing and Product teams to find innovative and breakthrough creative solutions.
In this role, you will help advance and extend the brand. You will conceive and execute breakthrough ideas that will impact and strengthen users’ views on the brand and its products. You will create across places, including broadcast, websites, posters, blog posts, social media, videos, articles, presentations, and more. You will be able to lead creative teams and own projects.

Responsibilities
- Concept and develop high-profile brand marketing campaigns, while guiding junior members of the team, including designers, writers, editors, and motion support to execute on that vision.
- Partner with Creative and Business teams to come up with and execute ideas with lasting impact on the brand.
- Make sure work is brief, in the YouTube tone, and help lead it through from conception to approval, and into production.
