Support the Family and Children’s Services Branch in maintaining commitment to safety, efficiency and a respectful, healthy and well-functioning workplace.
Family and Children’s Services Branch is responsible for territory wide delivery of services and programs that support positive and healthy outcomes for children, youth and their families.
As a Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for managing the branch operations i.e. facilities, assets management, records management and occupational health and safety and emergency management. In addition to this, you will be leading and providing day–to-day support to the administrative unit within the branch.
This position will be responsible for coordinating: front-end service delivery, office/space moves, building security clearances and access, signage, parking; fleet vehicles, and assisting with or taking on special projects, as required.
This position has significant input into the overall branch strategy to ensure operational efficiency and consistent support to Family and Children’s Services branch.
Your success in this role largely depends on your interpersonal and influencing skills to work collaboratively and professionally with all employees, government partners, internal and external stakeholders, and the public. The responsibilities of this position will directly affect the health and safety of the public and Yukon Government employees.
