This position provides support to the School Administration, teaching staff and student body to ensure the efficient operation of Porter Creek Secondary School. This position is a supervisory role for clerical staff. Duties include vendor contract assistance, tracking information for budgetary and inter-departmental use. This position will utilize the Aspen program to generate report cards and for scheduling. The incumbent will liaison with the Department to manage School Messenger.

Essential Qualifications

Coursework in finance, accounting, business or office administration,
Extensive experience providing customer service in a busy office setting;
Considerable office administration experience;
Leadership experience in a team; supervision of staff would be an asset;
Experience providing financial services including tracking;
Experience working in Public Schools
Experience working with Student Information Database System such as ASPEN would be considered an asset.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.
