The Department of Education is looking for an energetic, dedicated, hard-working candidate to join our team in an IT Service Desk Agent role. If this sounds like you, or you are looking for a great opportunity to learn more about Information Technology, this is might be the job for you!
You will be working with a highly collaborative team of excellent people dedicated to a high level of client services. Working in the Information Technology Support Services branch, the IT Service Desk Agent is the first point of contact for incoming end user requests from various support communication channels. This position provides a wide range of responsibilities including service desk duties, advice and assists with technical support, assists with IT asset management and provides procurement plus financial services. In addition, this position may also provide other IT services in support of the information technology team.

Essential Qualifications
Experience providing customer service in an office setting
Experience completing basic administrative tasks
Experience with finances or procurement including RFPs
Coursework in computer applications or related fields would be considered an asset
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
