Yukon Parks welcomes more than 85,000 visitors a year to our system of campgrounds and recreation sites. Park Attendants play a vital role in our program by ensuring that our facilities and grounds are clean, safe and always ready to be enjoyed.
This is a seasonal position, working from April to October. Our ideal candidate is committed to maintaining the highest standards in safety, client satisfaction, productivity, and quality of work. This is a physically demanding outdoor-based position that works in all weather conditions. Experience performing general grounds maintenance
Experience performing minor maintenance and repairs to buildings/facilities
Experience providing client service to the public
Experience operating chainsaws and brush saws is an asset
Experience working independently in remote areas is an asset

Additional Information:
The incumbents of these positions are expected to work weekends and report from their headquarters area. This is a reoccurring seasonal position that enjoys leave benefits as well as extended health care options.
Conditions of Employment: Valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence.
Job Requirements: Physical work in outdoor remote settings, including weekends and holidays, in all weather conditions.
