An eligibility list will be established and may be used for term (full-time or part-time), auxiliary-on-call or casual positions.
As a Treatment Support Worker with Mental Wellness and Substance Use Services, you will supervise clients by providing emotional support, conflict resolution, programming and transportation. Meanwhile, you will provide operational supports through monitoring client activities while assuring health and safety throughout the facility and when in the community with clients.

Experience providing Trauma-Informed Care to clients
Experience working with clients with a variety of social/health issues such as mental health and addiction/substance use
Experience with documentation and client records

Candidates should have and may be assessed on:
Understanding of addictions, mental health and trauma informed care principles
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Good interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, crisis management, and group facilitation
Strong written and oral communication skills, including basic computer literacy
Ability to use an electronic medical records system
Ability to supervise clients in a live-in setting
Ability to work collaboratively to build relationships
Ability to multi-task, make sound ethical decisions and maintain confidentiality
Conditions of Employment: Valid First Aid and CPR level C; Vulnerable Sector RCMP security clearance; TB screening; Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence; WHMIS 2015
Job Requirements: Exposure to cleaning products; Light lifting and regular bending, climbing stairs; Driving in all seasons required; Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, evenings and weekends.
