Endeavour Consumer Health is the consumer healthcare brands (FMCG) division of the EBOS Group, Australasia’s largest and most diversified marketer, wholesaler and distributor of healthcare, medical and pharmaceutical products. You will recognise them as the owner of such brands as Red Seal (herbal teas, toothpaste and supplements), Anti-Flamme and Gran’s Remedy among others. This role provides strength to the company’s technical team as it places greater emphasis on innovation to increase and improve its product portfolio, while also placing greater emphasis on sustainability.

What will you be doing?

This role will focus on product development, with packaging development and sustainability responsibilities that include:

• You will provide technical expertise across both in-house manufactured product and products developed in conjunction with third-party manufacturing partners.
• You will support key business initiatives such as cost optimisation projects.
• You will take a lead role as the company accellerates its sustainability journey.
• You will also support global regulatory compliance for exported product by providing technical guidance to the internal compliance team.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• You are tertiary qualified, with a degree in Food Science / Technology, Packaging, Life Sciences or similar, and have a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in the FMCG sector.
• Your skillset and technical knowledge should be broad. We’re not specifically looking for a subject matter expert, but someone who can leverage their knowledge and experience gained from one or more of the following categories: dietary supplements, food, personal care / cosmetics, complementary or listed medicines) and disciplines (product development, packaging development and sustainability).
• This role features elements of project management so your interpersonal and organisational skills will be critical to your success. You have a proven ability to foster strong working relationships, both with internal cross-functional teams and with the third-party manufacturers.
• In short: you are self-reliant and tenacious, highly ethical, have strong analytical skills and the ability to think laterally to solve problems.
