Overarching goal:

A strategic and dynamic HR Business Partner who can collaborate with the leadership of Yvolve Sport Limited to ensure that HR functions are performed with a complete understanding of the company’s business needs and objectives. The HR Business Partner function is a vital and exciting one, supporting and enabling the development and growth of the company, through its recognised brands – Yvolution, Neon and My Buddy Wheels. Reporting to the General Manager and working across all global teams, this is a growth role that offers the perfect opportunity for a proactive, driven professional to work closely with the management and leadership teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The HR Business Partner is a standalone role, responsible for recruitment, induction, training and development, retention, succession planning, compensation, designing and implementing performance appraisals, employee engagement and policy development, as well as managing general day-to-day HR operations.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Core Responsibilities (Approx. 60% time)
• Recruitment: collaborate with executive leadership to determine business needs, and lead the recruitment and selection process by working closely with hiring managers and ensuring the Leadership Team is included in the process.
• Organizational Review: compare business goals and objectives to the current structure of the business and distribution of roles, identify any new roles that are required.
• Monitor the HR budget and advocate for the redistribution of funding as needed.
• Induction: design, implement, evaluate and revise as necessary the induction process for the organisation to ensure the effective integration of new staff.
• Employee Relations: ensure consistent employment advice is provided to all managers and staff in all global locations in respect of policies, terms and conditions and legislation. Manage day to day issues as required through discussion with line managers, the Leadership Team and the GM as necessary.
• HR Systems: overall responsibility for the HR systems ensuring all information is updated as required and providing management reports on a regular basis. Attain maximum benefit from the current HRIM system.
• Performance Appraisal: design, implement, evaluate and revise as necessary to ensure that performance appraisals run smoothly, providing training where needed.
• Training & Development: identify and organise suitable training for all staff within budget as identified through the performance appraisal process. Of significant importance is to self-identify areas for growth education that best serve the expansion of HR Business Partner role.
• Policy Development: review and develop the HR policies and procedures as required in line with legislation and best practice.
• Employee Engagement: work collaboratively with leadership and management to ensure a high degree of employee engagement.
• Payroll: responsible for running payrolls in all territories.
• Undertake ad hoc HR projects as required.
• Assist the Leadership Team with any projects or challenges as they arise.
• Leadership and coaching of staff/Employee support (Approx. 20% time)
• Design and lead an employee engagement and motivation program, and ensure all stakeholders are clear on the strategy ang goal of employee engagement.
• Attend to the evolving needs of employees and the ability of the business to address employee concerns.
• Reporting & Office tasks (Approximately 10% time)
• Communicate weekly updates on progress against plans
• Utilising HRIS tool to the fullest extent possible. Derive relevant information to aid in progressing employee engagement and management response.
• Originate relevant data for the leadership team to understand how we stand in comparison to the work force at large.
• Run weekly management team meetings, revise and send out monthly board agenda.
• Be the main point of contact for site operational issues.
• Problem solving and solution-based management (Approx. 10% time)

Due to Yvolve being a young, fast paced company, systems are not fully integrated and are often a work in progress. Therefore, it is necessary for the HR Business Partner to work in a pro-active fashion, solving challenges & issues arising directly or through management and employees. This can be in any area; design, sales, marketing, customer service and operations. Teamwork and co-ordination here are key to success.

Salary: From €25,000.00 per year
