As a result of our growing Revenue Operations, we’re now seeking a motivated individual to join our experienced team. A successful candidate will be a self starter with a strategic leadership mindset, able to manage time and balance responsibilities in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment and. The main objective of this role will be to support our sales organization in our commerce to cash processes to ensure deals align with our corporate strategies, are compliant, and meet our business goals.
What you get to do every day:
The job responsibilities for this role will encompass the entire Quote-to-Cash process at Zendesk:
Partner with sales to teach best practices and help prepare a variety of strategic deals for management review
Act as a trusted advisor to guide sales reps through the deal flow process and review contracts to ensure it conforms to finance audit reviews and revenue recognition policies
Drive proactive communication with internal business partners such as: Sales, Finance, Legal, Revenue Recognition, and Sales management on any urgent orders or exceptions
Participate in designing and implementing an evolving business process to support extreme revenue growth.
Assist with the support and creation of non-standard service orders (contracts) for Sales
Provide weekly updates on interactions with customers/internal stakeholders to Finance and Sales management.
Under guidance of senior team members, work on ad-hoc projects & analysis (e.g. system testing for new SKU implementations, metrics analysis, etc.)
What you bring to the role:
Recent experience as a Billings/Operations/Salesops Analyst or similar would be a great asset to have behind your belt but not essential to be successful in this role. A successful candidate would be able to deal with ambiguity and change and have an inquisitive nature with a desire to understand and positively challenge and evolve processes.
Experience working with, supporting, and advising Sales and other cross-functional teams
Ability to work independently and meticulously. You hold yourself accountable to consistent, high-quality work combining your experience in a finance discipline and attention to detail with transaction processing.
Ability to develop great working relationships with key internal stakeholders to help drive revenue growth.
You’re able to plan, organise, and prioritise work – this role wears many hats!
Experience with Zuora/Salesforce and/or Zendesk would be great.
