Senior Software Engineer

Our Channels team own the Facebook, Twitter and Channel Framework integrations for our flagship product Support. These integrations are used by the majority of our 100k+ Customers, and need to be reliable, scalable, and robust.

While these integrations have been stable for a number of years, we are building for the future. What you’ll be doing

As a team member, you will be engaging and collaborating with fellow engineers, product managers and product designers along with security and operations engineers globally and across all phases of the software lifecycle to deliver product features. As a senior member of the team, you are required to continuously and actively improve your team’s technical abilities via mentoring, coaching, Pull Request reviews and 360 feedback. You will also be required to test and deploy your code through to production. You will also be expected to continually improve our team practices, processes and code via refactoring.What you bring to the roleYou have a deep understanding of Golang, Ruby, TypeScript, Java or other object-oriented programming languages. You have exposure to API design and rate-limiting. You have an understanding of performance and reliability needs. You have good communication skills both written and verbal. You love learning and teaching with a good appreciation of application development and agile practices. You know your way around SQL and noSQL datastores, distributed streaming platforms such as Kafka and queueing services such as AWS SQS.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
