At Zendesk, we truly believe that to build an outstanding product you have to have phenomenal people! We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations family in Melbourne. We are solving large-scale projects that has a direct impact on the strategic direction of the company.
You get to be part of a team responsible for building distributed, high scale and data-intensive integrations and data-pipelines that allow admins to extend our outstanding core SaaS product. We enjoy working with Engineers who possess a strong growth-mindset, are interested in problem solving and are able to demonstrate leadership skills. Our integrations process around 10 million events per day, so you will be challenged by the global scale and complexity of these systems.
We have over 1200 staff in APAC, most of them in Engineering, one of our biggest outside of San Francisco. We are a digital first company, and we work in a remote/hybrid fashion where flexible hours are the norm. We emphasise balance and ensure that employee mental well-being is always top of mind. We’re also very big on collaboration and regularly pair with global teams on key projects. Ongoing staff development is also essential to Zendesk so expect to be invited to virtual lunch and learns, hackathons and lab days to experiment with new ideas and concepts.
