JOB REQUIREMENTS: Zendesk Madison, Wisconsin, United States of America R17101 Job Description We are looking for a customer support guru and technical rockstar who flourishes with providing great support to their peers as well as Enterprise level customers. You’re a great match if you possess fantastic troubleshooting and analytical skills, the persistence to work through very tricky issues, are driven to help customers, and have the ability to dive deep into a new product to learn it inside and out. Requirements: * At least 3+ years of technical support experience * Experience communicating complex customer issues to development teams * Network troubleshooting / HTTP protocol, DNS, SSL * Expertise with RESTful APIs and data interchange formats such as JSON, XML * Expertise with mail protocols and mail server behaviors, including the ability to troubleshoot mail header and delivery issues * Familiarity with JavaScript, including common frameworks such as jQuery * Basic familiarity with web security issues (e.g. XSS, CSRF) * Experience with CSS3, HTML5 * Flexibility to work into the early evenings and pre-scheduled weekend shifts Desired: * Familiarity with various authentication and identity management solutions such as SAML, Active Directory, JWT * Mac terminal experience or Unix shell environments * Knowledge of common help-desk and ticketing solutions…maybe Zendesk * Familiarity with other server side Object-Oriented languages * Knowledge of CRM solutions, including Salesforce.com, SugarCRM, Microsoft Dynamics * Familiar with Handlebars or Ember.js * Advanced understanding of Zendesk products including, but not limited to Support, Chat, Talk, Guide, Explore, and Sunshine About Zendesk – Champions of Customer Service Zendesk started the customer experience revolution in 2007 by enabling any business around the world to take their customer service online.
