ZIM Integrated Shipping Services (New Zealand) Looking for Customer Service Coordinator (Booking) at Auckland CBD, Auckland Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Handling customer’s enquiry for Booking, sailing schedule including vessels space & routings, shipment status (cargo tracing) & assigning the depot for empty collection
• Monitor vessel’s eta date & update all relevant parties internally
• Communicate with Capacity Team for space/allocation issues
• Application and monitoring on special cargo i.e DG / OOG / RF / FLEXITANK for loading & discharging acceptance
• Liaise with depot for equipment arrangement as requested by customer (e.g container nomination, reefer pre-set temperature, food grade, early collection & exchange/return of empty container)
• Send Transhipment/Reefer List to Australia agent for Transhipment planning purpose
• Issue booking confirmation received thru phones/emails (manually) and via E-portal and follow up on amendment & cancellation.
• Monitoring containers gate-in for loading from PortNet system
• Prepare Loading Forecast to Partners/vessel operator, special cargo/reefer manifests to vessel operator
• Request prior discount approval for out port stuffing shipments
• Apply discount approval, if any
• Issue invoice for detention charges, if any

Who we are looking for

• Min GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ level
• Shipping knowledge
• Able to work under pressure, ability to meet date line
• Good customer service orientation
• Fluent in written and spoken English
