Zions Bancorporation is currently seeking an experienced Automation Solutions Architect to join its Business Process Automation Team in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for executing business initiatives, which will automate new or existing processes via a common process execution interface.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Promote informed vendor, product and technology decisions – ensuring that solutions meet operational requirements, leverage existing technologies and are aligned with IT standards and strategy.
Represent IT at project inception, understand value proposition, and assist in preparing project funding proposals.
Assist Business Analysts and System Owners in defining technology, solution, and non-functional requirements.
Participate in the development and delivery of the solution.
Perform project management tasks and/or a leadership role in solution delivery.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Employs advanced knowledge as a generalist or specialist of planning, architecting and delivering mission-critical enterprise grade applications and systems.
Experience in guiding buy/build decisions, distributed systems, system design and development.
Must have excellent project management, organizational, time management, customer relationship, communication, and presentations skills.
Requires a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, MIS or related field and 6+ years of experience in project management, Software development life cycle and information systems architecture and applications.
Must have a thorough understanding of IT management processes.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with enterprise-level business process management software (IBM BAW, Appian Symantec Workflow, etc.)
Knowledge of JavaScript and AJAX
Experience with Agile or Lean, process improvement environments
Experience interfacing with an Enterprise Service Business
A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Location: This position is remote if outside of the Salt Lake Valley, or a hybrid of remote/in office when new technology campus opens summer 2022.
Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000
