What are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly motivated, service minded individual to help our Portfolio and Relationship Managers grow our portfolios for the future as part of the Retail Business Banking team.
What will your day look like? You will be:
Responsible for spreading, analyzing, investigating, gathering and presenting financial data, tax information, and credit documentation for determining a clients’ credit worthiness
Placing calls to bankers and clients to update and complete loan files and better underwrite credits.
Assisting relationship managers evaluate financial spreads, cash flow analysis and prepare preflight documents.
Assisting with credit presentation analysis and underwriting certain less complex loan requests.
Assisting with customer problem resolution.
Consulting with relationship managers and portfolio managers in preparing customer information for credit review and loan presentations.
Assisting in providing customer service on behalf of relationship managers.
Responsible for assuring loan information systems (CreditLead) are complete and accurate.
Prepare weekly and quarterly reports for management.
Remaining flexible and taking on other due diligence and portfolio maintenance responsibilities to enable the success of the bank.
Who should apply? We want someone who has:
A Bachelors’ degree and some experience in loan processes, credit, credit analysis, documentation or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Basic knowledge of accounting, credit, credit analysis and experience working with various types of commercial loans.
The ability to meet deadlines, audit documentation and solve problems.
The ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data, investigate/research loan related issues and consult with and make recommendations to officers.
Good communication, customer service and organizational skills.
Tech savvy. Skilled with MS Office including Word and Excel.
Experienced with or ability to quickly learn various types of credit analysis software: Moody’s, TaxAnalysis, CreditLead, CIR, Bancs, RIMS, Powerpoint.
Attention to detail with consistent self-management and follow-through.
