Zutat Logistics/Dispatch

Description:

The Logistics Lead position will be responsible to ensure that recycled food waste loads are picked up from our customers and transported to our facility in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties:

• Establish plans and SOPs for each customer facility Zutat services
• Establish routes for truckers
• Communicate with Zutat truckers and 3rd party trucking companies
• Ensure that sufficient empty trailers are staged for our customers
• Ensure that sufficient trailers are staged at our own facility
• Provide needed direction to the Customer Accounts Manager

Relevance:

The Logistics/Dispatch role ensures that there is a sufficient supply of in-bound food waste for Zutat to transform into bakery meal. As such, this role is the link between Zutat’s service and production. By building efficient systems, analyzing data, and issuing clear orders in high-pressure situations this person will serve both our customers and the needs of plant personnel engaged in production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour
