We are seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to assist in daily operations in the Human Resource Department. We are looking for an independent, self-starting, and reliable individual that possesses a high level of energy coupled with great attention to detail.

Duties involve onboarding new hires, maintaining personnel files, orienting new employees, and more. This is an entry-level position and there will be on-the-job training. The ideal candidate for this will be a person with basic knowledge of HR concepts. He/she must be willing and eager to learn how to apply those concepts in an office setting. This is up to 90% remote position. Must have high-speed internet.

Duties:

• Assists in the hiring process by ensuring candidates complete the pre-employment screens
• Administer pre-employment tests and background screen requests
• Orienting new employees to the organization
• Preparing new employee files
• Maintaining current HR files and databases
• Completing termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
• Maintaining computer system by updating and entering data
• Ensuring background and reference checks
• Assists in maintaining confidential human resources records.
• Ensures compliance in various self-audits
• Files documents in personnel and accounting
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and as needed.

• Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
• Must be able to prioritize, and plan work activities as to use time efficiently
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of office computer applications
• Must possess personal qualities related to respect for the rights and confidentiality of others.
• Must possess a high level of skill in communication, both written and verbal.
• Must be flexible and organized
• Ability to maintain effective verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to perform essential job functions above
