A+ Homes Limited Hiring for Carpenters Assistant Job at New Zealand Full Time

A+ Homes Limited is an Auckland based construction company, due to business need, we are now looking for 5 carpenter assistants to join our onsite construction team.

This is full time permanent position with minimum 40 hours per week. The main job responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment, and transporting them around building sites.
• Assist Carpenter in cutting the raw material as required and fix it with nails or bolts
• Erecting of temporary structures such as scaffolding and barricades
• Assist Carpenters in constructing the structural framework of roof and laying the floor and walls as required to make it structurally stable
• Assist carpenters to assemble the cut wood to form accessories for installation
• Assist carpenters in building fixtures such as sinks, toilets and bathtubs
• may construct concrete formwork and repair existing fittings
• Other duties as carpenters required

The successful candidate need to have:

• A can-do attitude
• Can work with safety mind
• Can work efficiently as a team player
• Previous work experience is not required but would be an advantage
