ABB Hiring For Production Supervisor – Evening Shift at Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC Full Time

For the St-Jean-sur-Richelieu plant, we are seeking a production supervisor for the evening shift.
Reporting to the head of the Production Sector, your main responsibility will be to ensure the monitoring of the production needs in a unionized manufacturing setting that encourages participative management.

Production Development Specialist

• Supervise a production team made up of 20 unionized employees.
• Verify the availability of the equipment, material and staff, and identify the production priorities.
• Act as a leader in matters of health and safety management.
• Identify the opportunities and manage the improvement plans of your sector.
• Supervise, evaluate and coach the employees in the achievement of their skill level.
• Identify the training needs of the production employees.
• Participate in the planning of production.
• Run team meetings.
• Participate in the shift change meetings and other meetings.

• Graduate in Production Operations Management or DCS in Mechanical Engineering or Management.
• Two years of experience in employee supervision (preferably in unionized
