Able Personnel Looking for Assembly & Breakdown Technician at Napier Central, Hawkes Bay Full Time

Our Napier client’s dedicated production team is tasked with the assembly and breakdown of machinery and components for both local and export markets and they are looking for a couple of great team members to join their team.

About the role:
You will be assembling and breaking down machines/components and equipment with the requirement for extremely high level of attention to detail.  The ability to complete processes in a timely manner is also vital to ensure the high level of reliability required for this product. You will be trained if you don’t already have the skill to read and understand plans.

Skills and Experience:

• Have a mechanical aptitude with practical, hands-on experience
• Some basic experience with hydraulic and electrical systems
• Experience with reading and understanding plans
• Experience with hand tools

Benefits:

• $23-27 per hour starting rate
• 40-50 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime
• Ongoing long term assignment with the potential to go permanent
• Napier location
