Academy of Holy Angels Hiring for Cleaner/Custodian at Richfield, MN Full Time

The Cleaner/Custodian actively engages in the cleaning and light maintenance needs of AHA, providing a safe and well-kept environment for staff, students and all AHA stakeholders.

• This is a union position
• Saturday shift wage differential +$3.70 per hour

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain cleanliness of the school and campus
• Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum floors
• Clean windows and walls
• Dust and polish woodwork
• Clean bathrooms
• Clean offices and employee break areas
• Maintain storerooms, chemicals and supplies
• Communicate with Maintenance Team and Facilities Manager
• Prepare, set up, take down for athletic and special events
• General grounds maintenance, i.e. light lawn care and snow removal

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with light snow removal equipment preferred, but not required
• Good communication skills and a working knowledge of email
• Able to work independently
• Flexibility in work schedule
• Satisfactory completion of a background check
• Ability to climb a ladder, kneel/bend/lift up to 25 lbs without restrictions
