Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This position will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support the company’s growth and success as well as providing insightful recommendations to improve financial performance.

Responsibilities:
– Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis
– Manage all financial transactions and accounts payable/receivable
– Monitor, analysis and report on financial performance including key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide advice to management
– Assist and prepare with budgeting and forecasting
– Handle monthly and annual closings and reconciliations
– Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
– Assist with internal audits and tax filings
– Identify areas for process improvement and cost-saving opportunities
– Analyse business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses to guide decision-making
Requirements:
– A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– Proven experience as a Financial/Management Accountant or in a similar role with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations and practices
– Professional accounting designation is preferred
– Proficiency in accounting software, financial analysis tools and Microsoft suite
– Close attention to detail, accuracy and time-management skills
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present financial data effectively
– Clear communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
