JOB SUMMARY:This position is primarily responsible for performing the day-to-day responsibilities of the Employee Experience department. This position, working in tandem with the Employee Experience Coordinator (HR Coordinator), will support Accusoft Employees with all employment-related matters, including but not limited to records management, benefits administration, onboarding/ offboarding, employment law compliance, HR reporting and analysis, employee relations, and HR event and team building coordination. This individual welcomes and interacts with employees at all levels of the organization and requires a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and displays a high level of independent discretion in managing HR initiatives. This individual will maintain a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues and work with the VP of Employee Experience to help create HR initiatives that are in line with corporate objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Work with employees at all levels to develop inclusive thinking and to address inclusion needs.Provide HR guidance/support in the areas of: policy and process interpretation, employee relations, employee engagement, change management and process improvement, competency development, talent management, and employment law compliance.Assists with conducting and enhancing Accusoft’s new employee orientation program; helping to foster positive attitudes toward company goals and values.Takes lead on the offboarding process for existing employees and engages with the VP of Employee Experience on feedback shared for areas of improvement.Guide managers in employee relations matters; participating in employee relation/counseling meetings as needed.Benefits Administration: Works with the VP of Employee Experience to design, implement and complete benefits administration for the organization. Responsible for administering the company’s 401K plan to include annual testing, coordination of annual 401k committee meetings, and other fiduciary requirements.Responsible for Annual Benefit Enrollment facilitation and implementation.Reviewing and approving all benefit invoices.Manages and tracks COBRA.Keeps records of insurance coverage, pension plans, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations.Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carriers (submits Short-Term Disability and Workers’ Compensation claims).Lead our Wellbeing Committee; creating and maintaining an annual Wellbeing budget and execution of quarterly goals.Conducts annual benefit survey and analysis; aligning the needs of our employees to our benefit offerings.Accusoft Policy and Procedure Administration: Continue to improve our programs, policies, and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational HR matters of the organization; updating and maintaining the HR policies and procedures located on the Accusoft Procedure and Policy website.Plans, directs and carries out policies relating to all phases of personnel activity.Creates and manages Job Descriptions.Responsible for Annual Performance Review Process and annual training requirements (such as Anti-Harassment Training, SOC2/HIPAA Training, etc).HRIS (Human Resources Information System) Tools and Reporting: Manage the organization’s HRIS database and other software programs that enable our team to deliver exceptional service and support to our teams. Provide necessary reports for critical analysis of the HR function and the people resources of the organization.Government Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits
