Our client is one of Commodities Trading companies whom has a strong presence in Asia, and they are looking for hire a Trading Operation Manager to manage the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver, execute and document physical coal delivery
• Support traders in data compilation and documentation
• Monitor vessel shipments (dry bulk) and resolve issues
• Handle shipping documentation- invoices, LC, BL, CO, Export declaration and sampling document
• Compute demurrage and dispatch.
• Manage operations team and ensure smooth shipments operations
• Act as a liaison between traders, operations, legal and other internal groups regarding contract status, the acceptability of terms and the commercial and legal implications of contract issues. Contractual documents & dates like nomination dates, payment dates etc.
• Preparing credit applications annually
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual business report
• Conduct internal training and audit assistance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies or Supply Chain with 5 years of experience Dry Bulk operation
• Deep knowledge of commodities exchanges, clearing standards and market conventions
• Understanding of commodities workflows and straight through processes
• Able to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and counterparts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
