Actalent Hiring for Electronics Technician at Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin Full Time

Immediate need to hire a Test Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and test modules and drives. This role will be working with high voltages (460V, 575V, 1000V).

Description:

• Testing and validating modules and drives and documenting results.

• Validation of modules and drives using engineering drawings and electrical schematics.

• This role is testing boards and then validating and recording data.

• They will be working in labview, doing functional testing, ICT and probe testing

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a 2-year technical degree program such as electronics, electromechanical technology or they are going to school for Associate Degree

• Manufacturing or production experience

• Ability to troubleshoot boards to a component level. – some circuit board testing is preferred

• Ability to use electronic tools: Oscilloscopes, multimeters, Volt meters, Current meters

• Must have some experience in Module repair ( soldering and De-soldering parts) through-hole and surface mount type of boards.

• Working knowledge of small hand and power tools used in mechanical and electrical assembly.

• Demonstrated ability to read electronic schematics and follow visual prints, and read work instructions in English.

• Demonstrated ability to perform work safely; Knowledge of safe working practices for the job (up to 690VAC and 1100VDC).

• Some experience with testing electronic drives, safety training and awareness around electronic and mechanical systems a plus.

• Some hands-on experience with Labview testing, but not required.
