• IMMEDIATE HIRE – ENTRY LEVEL BIOLOGY LAB TECH*

Environmental Monitoring Analyst – Rocky Mount, NC

• Placement: Contract-To-Hire
• Schedule: 2x2x3 Rotating
• Shift: Night shift 7PM – 7 AM or Day shift 7AM – 7 PM MUST BE FLEXIBLBE TO WORK EITHER SHIFT.

Position Summary:

• Seeking motivated individuals to join the Environmental Monitoring Team.
• Day to day this team is responsible for viable and non-viable monitoring of the manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling.
• Work Environment: Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, where individuals will interact with the manufacturing floor as well as the laboratory.

o 80% in the manufacturing areas sampling and about 20% in the lab.

• Training: After New Employee Orientation, you will move to their team schedule for training.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in a Life Science field.
• Scientific experience in biology, microbiology, 0-1 yrs. industry experience in environmental monitoring.
• Experience performing aseptic technique, understands the concept of it in pharma manufacturing
• Desire to work in the pharmaceutical industry, NOT do research.
• Very strong work ethic, and very flexible (people who work a job while in school do very well here, could be restaurant, retail, manual labor, etc.).

Responsibilities:

• The Environmental Monitoring Team is responsible for viable and non-viable monitoring of the manufacturing areas, including air, water and surface sampling.
• Samples will be logged in a proprietary LIMS.
• cGMP documentation practices will be adhered to.
