What you’ll do at Bowery ● Perform daily GMP inspections to ensure farm hygiene practices are maintained in accordance with regulatory, SQF and Bowery Farming standards ● Conduct operational and post operational processing environment inspections and audits to maintain facility compliance ● Perform daily scale verifications to ensure scale accuracy ● Monitor and ensure proper concentration of cleaning chemicals ● Recommend and implement corrective actions based on outputs of the Bowery SQF program ● Conduct hygiene testing on select equipment prior to operation ● Perform finished product audits in accordance with the Bowery Farming FG Audit ● Collect water and environmental samples as necessary ● Other duties as assigned *Main responsibility will be to do QC on the lettuce before it goes out to the clients. Their job duties will expand from there.

Requirements ● Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills ● Willingness to follow strict food safety and sanitary standards ● Ability to work flexible shifts as needed ● Ability to work in the cold room (sub 37 degrees) for short and extended periods of time (Protective equipment provided) ● PC or Mac familiarity, ability to use a tablet or smartphone ● Ability to lift and move objects up to 49 pounds each ● Ability to bend, lift, stretch and reach both below the waist and above the head
