Our client is actively looking for a Ophthalmic Assistant to join their team.

Description:

• Documenting physician visit in EMR system

• Will be hands on with some instruments when asked by physician

• Work ups after doctor visits with patient

• Communicate with patients should be able to speak on the procedures/treatment

• Patient Workups

• Diagnostic Testing

• Scheduling

• Patient Flow

• Patient follow up calls

• Inventory Management

Skills:

Medical terminology, Patient care, EMR, Medical Assisting, Ophthalmology

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant experience or entry level Medical Assistant with externship experience

• MA Certification preferred

• Open to new grads with scientific degree or medical field experience
