Job role:
Activate Learning is a pioneering education group which exists to transform lives through learning. We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Level 3 Law and Criminology Teacher to join our Bracknell and Wokingham College team on a part time basis. This will include the delivery of learning on our A Level Law, Criminology and BTEC Forensic Science programmes.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drives who are committed to enabling our students to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.
This is a permanent, part-time contract working 33.4 hours per week (0.90 FTE). There is the possibility of job share for this post, so we will welcome applications for this on a part time basis. Please specify your preference on your application form.

What do you need to be successful in this role?*
Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree preferably with some teaching experience. This qualification could be in either field with the ability to teach across both. Whilst we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants, with the ability to inspire our learners and a willingness to complete a teaching qualification.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
