In this multi-functional role, you will be a key senior member of our Transmission & Distribution team dedicated to leading and engaging with our clients to deliver multi-disciplinary projects and offer innovative solutions on time, every time.
This is a specialist protection and control design role involving site investigations, co-ordination with substation and communications engineers and practical application in support of the construction works.
This role will suit a passionate individual with a recognised track record in providing high-value transmission and distribution advisory services. It is a fantastic opportunity to be actively involved in an innovative and highly motivated team of energy professionals.
Minimum Requirements
You will be a logical and proactive problem solver with strong communication skills who has at least 7 years’ post graduate experience in secondary systems, and be able to demonstrate:
+ Working knowledge of HV substation protection fundamentals and application
+ Working experience with at least one of the following power system tools: DigSilent, PSSE, SINCAL, EDSA, ETAP.
+ Good understanding of protection principles (sensitivity, stability, selectivity and suitability) and application of differential, distance, OCEF, voltage, frequency protections for line protections, transformer protections, generators, feeders, motors etc.
+ Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
