This well regarded and respected professional team are boutique in size (eight in the office) and proud of the specialist work they help clients with NZ wide. Due to the nature of their work it’s important that you are self-motivated, have integrity, confidence and confidentiality when dealing with both internal and external contacts. The team understand the importance of each person doing their individual part so that projects and deadlines are met on time together.
The Role
This fantastic opportunity is available due to the Office Manager deciding she is ready for a new challenge after 12 years in the company and 7 years in this role. She is committed and excited to provide as much handover as needed to ensure as much knowledge and insight is shared.
The Office Manager’s job is to ensure that systems, processes and plans are seamlessly taken care of so the team can focus on their tasks. If you are looking for a job that offers variety in your workday, ownership and responsibility while working alongside a genuine team, this is it.
Quite simply the job can be divided into three main areas, Finance and Accounts, People & Culture, Operations and Administration. As you can imagine with this great mix of responsibilities you need to have a wide range of experience, great interpersonal skills and the confidence to lead in a thoughtful and inclusive way.
You
The successful candidate will offer previous experience working and supporting a business and team with Office Management responsibilities. You definitely need to be confident using technology and systems, be someone who looks for ways to improve processes and sees the potential to really make a difference working in a small office. You will be a confident communicator, super organised, mature in your thinking and working, a proactive self-starter with initiative. It is essential that you enjoy working independently, in a deadline driven environment alongside high achieving people.
