Aerotek is hiring for Auxiliary Operators in the Alexandria, VA area

Qualified candidates will preform the following:
Work with Shift Supervisor and Control Room Operator to maintain the operation and inspection of various systems and equipment within the power plant.

Work with equipment such as high pressure boilers, fans, grates, ash and dust systems, demineralizer, and testing of feedwater quality.

May also operate crane.

Safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment to SOP’s and safety standards. Record data, report equipment malfunctions or trends in case of emergency.

Must have experience in industrial plant operations

100% in plant.

50% observing and troubleshooting boilers.

40 % on other equipment such as incinerators, and conveyors.

10% test of combustion.
