Our client is a fortune 500 company that manufactures products and provides engineering services for industrial, commercial, and consumer markets. They have approximately 83,500 employees and 200 manufacturing locations. They are currently growing and seeking 2nd shift Line Workers to join there growing team in Rockford, IL. The Line Workers will be responsible for the assembly of product, utilizing hand tools, packaging product, taping, labeling, and stacking product. 2nd shift hours are 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday – Friday and must be flexible to work up to 5 hours every other Saturday when needed. New hires will train one week on 1st shift. Candidates interested and qualified are encouraged to apply.
Skills:
Assembly, hand tools, packaging, labeling, stacking, and line work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
The position requires standing for 8 hours a day; lifting product consistently on the line throughout the day; ability to communicate problems to coworkers and supervisor, must be timely and efficient with assembly and packaging, this is a fast pace position.
High School diploma or equivalent.
On-the-job training of 1 – 2 months.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations with whole numbers and decimals.
Ability to read and understand Bill of Materials, work instructions, inspection cycles, and other job related material.
Experience Level:
Intermediate level and experienced workers.
