Aerotek Hiring for Quality Control at Dorchester, MA Full Time
Equivalent Experience
Location: Dorchester, MA
Shift: 1st 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay: $23-26
Description:
- Perform inspections required using verbal and written instructions as well as drawings and schematics.
- Must be familiar with related mechanical, electrical and visual inspection methods.
- A solid understanding of basic quality systems concepts, calibration processes and knowledge of IPC 620 class III, ISO9001-2008 and AS9100 is required.
- Be capable of interpreting drawings and specifications in order to determine quality status of material being inspected.
- Be able to select and set up appropriate electronic and measuring inspection equipment that will properly match tolerance requirements.
- Detect and report unusual or non-conforming documentation, materials, conditions, or product to QC Manager.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience working in quality inspection in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with cables, harnesses, connector or electronics for defense and aerospace applications is preferred.
