AFFCO Hiring for Human Resources Advisor Job at Horotiu Full Time

AFFCO is currently seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join our HR leadership team working from our Corporate Office situated five minutes north of Hamilton in Horotiu. Reporting to the National HR Manager, you will primarily be responsible for supporting central and site-based human resource functions, primarily in the areas of recruitment, employment relations, talent management and organisational development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coach and support managers in applying best practice talent acquisition practices.
• Manage employee recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes, supporting people managers where necessary.
• Act as system administrator for all HR systems including applicant tracking, HRIS and job boards etc.
• Prepare job advertisements, job descriptions and employment agreements.
• Coordinate programmes of work including the delivery of learning and development courses and graduate programmes.

The successful candidate will have the following knowledge and skills:

• Foundational understanding of employment-related legislation and employment relations best practice.
• Strong relationship building, influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritise workload through good time management and organisation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and administrative skills.
