Position:

If you are a qualified tutor and are passionate about older people’s physical health and wellbeing, then we have the role for you. We are looking for two Falls Prevention Exercise Tutors to deliver our programmes across the county.

At Age UK Oxfordshire, we provide a wide variety of tailored physical activity opportunities for older people to help them in maintaining health, wellbeing, and independence, to keep doing what they love for longer.

It’s an exciting time to join the growing Physical Activity Team. We have been commissioned to deliver a new ground-breaking programme using physical activity to support those who are worried about falling or who have experienced a fall.

If you do not yet have your Level 4 Postural Stability Instructor qualification, we will pay for you to complete the course to enable you to deliver the role. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to continue their tutoring career.

We have two posts available and these posts are for 18 hours a week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6 hours per day. We can offer some flexibility on the hours but you must be available for these three days to deliver the course.

Hours Renumeration and Benefits:

• Salary £12 – £13 per hour
• 18 hours a week. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6 hours per day.
