AHMC Healthcare Hiring for Speech Therapist PD at Anaheim, California Full Time

Under the direction of the Physical Therapy Director, evaluates plans, identifies, assesses, interprets, diagnoses and administers medically prescribed speech therapy treatment to patients. Selects and executes procedures for screening and assessment of speech, language, oral pharyngeal function, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders; formulates, carries out, and documents plan of care throughout the continuum of care, Inpatient and outpatient; and encompasses pediatric through geriatric populations; educates patient, family/caregivers and staff regarding impairments of speech, language, swallowing, and cognition disorders.

Graduate of an Accredited Speech-Language Therapy Program with a Master’s Degree

One to Two years of inpatient and outpatient speech therapy experience in an acute hospital and /or rehabilitation department and/or outpatient clinic setting preferred; may consider a new grad.

Ability to perform videofluroscopy study preferred

Current California Speech/Language Pathologist License Required

BCLS certificate required
