Aimbridge Hospitality Hiring for Utility Housekeeper at Los Angeles, California Full Time

The Utility Housekeeper maintains inventory of all goods/supplies of the Housekeeping Department and respond to all guest requests to ensure a smooth and efficient housekeeping operation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.

• Must have a valid driver license for the applicable State and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record (property specific-driving).

• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

• Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.

• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Deliver guest requests (irons/boards, hair-dryers, roll-a-way beds, towels, soap, etc.) in a timely, efficient and hospitable manner and maintain log.

2.Coordinate and accept all goods/supplies from vendors through inventory, sign/accept and store in designated storage areas.

3.Maintain appropriate pars of all goods/supplies and report to Linen Room Attendant in order to ensure item is ordered and received in a timely fashion.

4.Retrieve all irons/boards, hair-dryers, etc. within two hours of signing out to guest and ensure all items are accounted for at the close of shift and update status in log.

5.Maintain the housekeeping and storage areas through sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, etc. to ensure a high level of sanitation.

6.Report all safety hazards and items requiring repair (frayed electrical cord, broken on/off switches, etc.) noted during course of shift to the Linen Room Attendant.
