We have an exciting opportunity to join the Air New Zealand Brand Centre of Excellence asSocial Media Specialist (Brand and Marketing Specialist) based in Auckland. Air New Zealand is a leader in the brand and social media space by repeatedly delivering new, unique and engaging campaigns and tactical responses. We are recruiting one permanent position.
The role you will play:
Reporting to the Chapter Lead social media, the key focus of this role is to deliver world-class social media content that drives Air New Zealand’s brand objectives and improves Air New Zealand’s social media footprint.
You will be responsible for delivering the Air New Zealand social media strategy, constantly reviewing, initiating and recommending new and innovative ways to ensure the Air New Zealand brand maintains a leading position in New Zealand and offshore. You will be tasked with planning and delivering specific campaigns, content and advertising campaigns for Air New Zealand’s social media channels that align with wider business strategies and have high relevancy for our audiences.
This role supports the Brand & Marketing team in implementing a social media strategy that delivers on brand objectives and supports commercial objectives.
Our ideal candidate:
Not only will you be an in-depth social media expert, but you will also need to have some general brand marketing skills as you are part of the team who develop the Air New Zealand brand. We’re ideally looking for someone with work experience in a full-time corporate social media role along with a degree in Marketing or Communications.
