Senior Medical Writer

Full-time or Part-time available

Location: Remote

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

Our client is a global award-winning agency and are searching for an ambitious and experienced writer to join their growing team. The team works independently to create educational content and works on a project-to-project basis, ensuring no day is the same! They work across many therapeutic areas including neurology, virology, and diabetes, to name a few. If you’re missing variety in your current role, then this is the role for you!

The Role:

The role involves using your knowledge to inform by creating educational content across all formats of writing platforms, including e-learning, and workshops.

Responsibilities:

• Develop materials in various forms including slide decks, posters, manuscripts, abstracts, summaries, workshops, e-learning and webinars
• Manage, mentor, and guide junior members of the team including editing and proofreading their work
• Strategic input interfacing with clients in live and remote meetings, and webinars.
• Ensure projects are finished to an exemplary standard
• Lead discussions on CME and CE programs and provide strategic input into the business

Qualifications and Experience

• 18 months+ of Healthcare/Medical Communications agency experience
• A degree in Life/Biological Sciences
• Preferably an advanced scientific degree – PhD, PharmD or MD
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Eye for detail and ability to produce high-quality content
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel software
