We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing business teams. The ideal candidate will contribute hands-on and strategically to cultivate an amazing and innovative Alibaba culture as the organization grows and scales. This is a full-time role located in Mexico City.
In this position, you will partner with senior business leaders and teams to develop and execute the HR strategies that champion organizational and people effectiveness in the region. You must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– HR Compliance: Ensure all HR processes and documents are compliant with Mexico labor laws and regulations. Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
– Policy Development and Implementation: Draft, update, and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company’s policy and operational needs.
– Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and queries. Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive work environment.
– HR Administration: Oversee administrative tasks including but not limited to maintaining employee records, processing HR-related documentation, and managing HR databases.
– HR Reporting: Prepare HR reports and analyze data for insights related to turnover, hiring, and other HR metrics.
Qualifications:
-BA/BS Degree with at least 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
-Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
-Have sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive information, and strong attention to detail and on-time completion of deliverables.
-Able to takes initiatives with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude and a continuous improvement mindset
-Able to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly-changing environment
-Proven ability to develop relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization, exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills, and execute, implement, and lead change management initiatives
-Proven track record of working with senior management in an “influence-without-authority” role. Can confidently express your opinion, based on thoughtful data and analysis.
