  Horizons Program Care Technicians Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interact with residents in a professional and understanding manner.

• Companionship and 1 to 1 support for residents with neurological impairments.

• Supporting residents on out of facility experiences and appointments.

• Working directly with Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapists to support resident’s therapies

• Support recreational activities, alternative therapies and specialized dining programs.

• Transport patients throughout the building for activities and personal preference.

• Adhere to all HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and record keeping

• Demonstrate pride in the workplace environment and maintenance/upkeep of the facility including, but not limited to, collecting used laundry items and replacing with clean laundry, maintaining professional appearance of resident rooms and gym/facility equipment.

• Perform other diverse duties as requested or required

  What is Horizons at Allaire Rehab and Nursing:

  Horizons at Allaire Rehab and Nursing is a young adult neurological program which serves individuals 18 to 59 with qualifying neurological diagnoses. This includes but is not limited to MS, TBI, Spinal Cord Injury, Stroke and other neurological conditions. We provide therapy, recreational activities, nursing care and out of facility experiences for all of our residents. We are seeking hardworking and motivated individuals who are eager to learn and implement our day-to-day programming supporting each of the resident’s unique goals.
