AllSquares has partnered with Bueno Systems (http://www.buenosystems.com.au/) in their search for a Front End (Typescript & React) Engineer. This is a full time permanent position and an opportunity to join a really exciting company in the Data Analytics space. Their office is located in the CBD, but they promote a healthy work life balance, and lots of flexibility with regards to when you come into the office, and how often. Salary range is $120-140k+.

The Role

The Front-End Developer role at Bueno is primarily responsible for crafting awesome
web-based experiences for our customers using our cutting-edge stack. You’ll be working closely with a
small team of designers, developers and product people to make our vision a reality and push the
property industry towards a greener, more sustainable future. You’ll also be working with and
contributing to our internal design system and component library, as well as being a powerful voice in
our push to continuously refine both what we do and how we do it. This is a challenging but rewarding
role, with the potential to make lasting contributions that drive real positive change in the world.

As a seasoned front-end developer:

• You enjoy writing clean, modular, maintainable Typescript
• React is an old friend, and you’ve dealt with many different state management architectures

over the years (React hooks, flux architecture)

• You are comfortable working iteratively all the way from from basic wireframes to polished

experiences & applications

• You have a product mindset and are always thinking about how your work will deliver value to

customers; whether it be in the form of new product features, improved performance &
reliability, or broader browser support

• You pay attention to trends and advocate for “best practice” or industry standard FE patterns,

not just the new and shiny cool stuff

• You understand and know how to apply basic UI & UX principles
• You’re accustomed to working with RESTful APIs
• You have a deep, abiding love of version control, test-driven development, and agile

principles

• You’re always learning, willing to try new things, and question everything

Bonus points for experience in:

• Visualisation of time series data, particularly with D3
• End-to-end integration testing with Cypress
• CSS-in-JS libraries
• Figma as a collaboration and handover tool
• Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker
• Package management & semantic versioning with NPM
