We set them. Job Summary:

This job is responsible for ensuring consistency of estimating practices for Staff and Total Loss oversight and compliance to best practices. The individual conducts physical and/or virtual reinspections and analyzes complex estimates prepared by Allstate shops.

This position is a permanent remote home-based worker, but will require travel. Physical reinspections will require travel within the Tri-County area of South Florida consisting of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade County. Residency is required within these markets, with preference in Broward County.

This position is not open to AK, CA, or HI residents. Key Responsibilities:

• Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
• Researches and responds to complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
• Selects complex estimates for reinspection
• Completes physical reinspections, ride-alongs, and/or desk reviews of adjuster and/or vendor repair estimates and other assigned claims to ensure adherence to estimating best practices and process and documentation compliance
• Makes corrections and repair recommendations
• Provides information on reinspection results to ensure vendors and technicians are following Allstate specific guidelines and procedures
• Collaborates with leadership regarding inspection or file review results
• Participates in callibration activities with the Claims organization Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 2 or more years of related experience
• Candidate should be currently licensed in FL Functional Skills: • Ability to interact effectively, and coach others on interacting effectively, with internal or external customers and act with empathy
• Applies broad knowledge of insurance policy, coverage, and regulation
• Applies broad knowledge of claim processes, policies, procedures, claim systems, coverage, liability, damage estimating, and/or settlement, and adherence to applicable legal compliance standards
• Applies broad industry knowledge to discipline practices, including best practices, to support the business unit
• Applies broad ability to leverage learned technical skills in support of team objectives
• Applies broad negotiation and/or arbitration skills
• Applies broad conflict management and problem resolution skills in managing internal and external customer relationships
• Applies broad problem solving skills to continuously improve business outcomes

Compensation offered for this role is $56,600 – $80,100 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
