The Opportunity
As a part of the Risk Credit Analytics team, the Analyst is responsible for supporting the Dealer Portfolio Management teams within Ally’s Auto Commercial Lending Operations by developing and providing reports used to monitor and mitigate risk in the portfolio and to identify growth and profit opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who is detail oriented, results driven, and able to work in a collaborative environment.
The Work Itself
• Query, process, and analyze data to provide insights and produce regular/adhoc reporting
• Prepare and deliver reports to customer specifications and timelines
• Ensure controlled, effective systems are in place for assigned job responsibilities
• Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
• Proactively develop and implement process improvements for existing team deliverables to improve efficiency, data quality, and accuracy.
• Participate as a team member on various special projects and initiatives as needed.
The Skills You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Data Science, or other highly quantitative field of study
• 1+ years of relevant experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel & Access (VBA a plus)
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL (SAS and/or Python a plus)
• Familiarity with Power BI a plus
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workflow
• Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment
• Auto finance knowledge or experience a plus

Base Pay Range:
Emerging: 65,000
Experienced: 90,000
Expert: 115,000
