Join us and Apply today!What you will be doingPOSITION SUMMARY:Under general supervision of the Director – Technical Communications & Training is responsible for preparing, delivering and maintaining training data and records for classroom training programs in adherence with the training methodologies, standards, programs, policies and procedures. In addition, the Training Specialist will assist in development, review, evaluation and modification of existing and proposed training programs to facilitate knowledge transfer and regulatory compliance.This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. It is the associate’s responsibility to observe all safety rules. Any condition thought to be hazardous or unsafe should be reported to your supervisor immediately.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate and lead AHP’s Compliance Orientation Training Program for onboarding associates. Support onboarding process and experience by distributing onboarding materials and following up with associates to answer questions, ensuring access to the various systems is adequate and understood by new associates; providing feedback; evaluating knowledge transfer; and verifying successful completion of applicable training curriculum. Evaluate training participants and provide feedback to functional managers regarding performance during training sessions/events. Facilitate and deliver group and individual instruction and training for new and existing associates covering a range of topics including technical, operations, and regulatory compliance (as they relate to cGMP/FDA, OSHA, DEA and ABC Compliance). Develop, modify and maintain training content including outlines/agendas, multimedia visual aids and handouts. Analyze, assess, develop and implement continuous improvements of training to address the needs of individuals and departments. Notify associates concerning training enrollment; schedule and record attendance for training sessions; and organize and file corresponding training records. Serve as an administrator for AHP’s Training Management System (TMS) / Learning Management System (LMS); enter and maintain electronic training files; and provide reports and/or information upon request. Schedule and prepare conference / training room for training; set-up audiovisual equipment; distribute training materials, handouts and evaluations; and deliver presentations. Provide clerical and administrative support related to training. Interact with associates from all department within the organization. May work with outside consultants and vendors to deliver consistent training programs. Ability to work occasional “off-shift” hours, as needed, to facilitate training. Required to qualify as a Certified OJT Trainer by successfully completing AHP’s Certified Train-the-Trainer Program.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:This position requires some understanding in fields such as business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.Normally requires a minimum of two (2) to five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible professional experienceDemonstrated experience with facilitating training and creating training guides and materials is required.Instructional design experience is a plus.Experience with a Training Management System (TMS) / Lea
